This is from one of the premier glass studios on Murano. Cenedese Vetri, founded in 1946 is considered to be one of the most prestigious & renowned producers of art glass in the world...and with good reason. 

This delightful trinket dish is superbly modeled on a scallop or clam shell, it embodies all the aesthetics and qualities of mid century design and this piece was created in the 1970s.

It is "Museum quality" condition and still retains its original label.
