A very large and substantial Cornucopia "Horn of plenty" vase. Clearly hand-blown and featuring an obvious but very smooth pontil mark, highlighting the skill and masterful techniques used in the production of this work.
Very likely from the Seguso Vetri d'arte studio, but unmarked, so almost impossible to positively attribute.
It's colours and design places it firmly in the middle of the Mid Century Modern aesthetic around the mid 50s to early 60s.
20 cms tall and 15 cms wide. Perfect condition.
