A beautifully hand-blown Murano glass bowl crafted using the intricate filigrana and zanfirico techniques. Alternating ribbons of pale aqua and white latticino spiral gracefully through the clear crystal body, delicately highlighted with fine gold aventurine threads.
The form is perfectly balanced, flaring softly into a ruffled rim that catches the light beautifully. The precision of the canework radiating from the centre base reflects the remarkable skill of its maker.
Almost certainly originating from the Venetian island of Murano, this unmarked piece dates to the mid-20th century, circa 1950–1970. The refined control of form, harmonious colour palette, and subtle gold highlights are characteristic of Murano masters such as Fratelli Toso or Archimede Seguso.
Unmarked, as many studio pieces of the era were, yet unmistakably Murano — an elegant and luminous example of the island’s enduring artistry and craftsmanship.
