A grand, hand-blown Caithness vase. In a deep, deep shade of amethyst and beautifully etched with a finely detailed rose and leaves. This one still sports its original Caithness label which places it production firmly in the late 60s or very early 70s. The label was dropped in favour of etching in1971. (Remarkable that a label stays put for well over 50 years)
Caithness Glass was founded in 1961 and ceased trading in 2002.
8 inches tall and 3 inches across.
