Glorious little hand-blown amethyst jug. MCM 1960s

A delightful and charming little jug or pitcher in a most glorious shade of amethyst and with a clear glass applied handle. Whilst unmarked it displays all the aesthetics of the Mid Century Modern movement and shows considerably skill in its creation. This vintage piece of art glass is hand-blown, with a highly polished pontil mark. 

It would make the prettiest of posy vases.

The condition excellent. There is a tiny inclusion in the body from the hand-blowing process.
