A nice example of this iconic vase from the Swedish art glass studio ASEDA Glasbruk (1947 - 1977)
This single stem vase, known as a Jack in the Pulpit or bone vase is by renowned artist and chief designer Bo Borgstrom who joined Aseda in 1961.
This vase undoubtedly dates ftom the mid to late 60s and with its controlled bubbles base and natural, organic shape is fine example of MCM (mid century modern) design.
The vase is in absolutely perfect condition - almost "as new" it's hard to believe it's over 60 years old.
