A exceptionally high quality swung vase, displaying all the characteristics of Murano art glass, but being unmarked is being sold as attributed to rather than confirmed.

The vase is finished with a deeply recessed, concave base, showcasing an 8 pointed star cut design, within the base and with totally smooth sides. This is a highly refined and distinctive finishing technique, known as "rigadin" which involves blowing molten glass into a ribbed mold to create a subtle fluted design. Coupled with the reds and amber's of the hand-blown sommerso technique, it has produced an beautiful and unique item of fine studio glass. Love it so much ❤️.
