Pair of Riihimäen Lasi “Torpedo” Vases, Attributed to Tamara Aladin (15 cm)

A matching pair of hand-blown glass vases in the classic torpedo form, each measuring 15 cm tall and weighing a substantial 280 g. Beautifully cased amethyst glass fading to clear at the base, with flat polished rims and neatly finished bases.

Although unmarked (as was typical once paper labels were lost), the quality, weight, and design are strongly consistent with Riihimäen Lasi of Finland during the 1960s, and closely related to Tamara Aladin’s celebrated “Torpedo” vases (catalogue model 1365, normally found in larger sizes).

Perfect condition throughout. A striking and authentic piece of Scandinavian mid-century design — ideal for collectors or interior display.
