An exceptionally large Pilgrim cranberry glass bowl in exceptionally fine condition.
An exceptional example of American art glass that totally exemplifies the MCM design period (mid century modern)
Pilgrim glass was founded in1949 by Alfred E Knobler. They started producing cranberry glass in about 1962 and this piece hails from the late 60s or early 70s. They ceased production in 2001 and closed completely in 2002.
Pieces of this size and age are seldom found in the UK nowadays...
